Happy Solstice

 Happy Solstice

In the north country we celebrate the winter solstice because it's a reminder of more sunlight to come. Today we will have less than 9 hours of daylight   But it's the perfect time to wrap in a scarf and get lost reading a good mystery.  This one takes place in northern Iceland and it seems that the characters go though one blizzard after another.  And I'm in front of the fire with my feet up.  Happy Solstice.

But I'd be remiss if I didn't offer you all a very Merry Christmas.  Thanks for a fun and stimulating year.  And I don't want Modesty to suggest that I stopped being bold!

Love a good book and snuggled up reading is the best way to spend a winters day
